Anson Mount, Paul Wesley, Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding, and Christina Chong celebrated Season 2’s peek.

San Diego Comic-Con was a celebration of fandom attended by fans and creators alike. Promoting movies and television series required the best of both networks and studios.

On Saturday, Paramount+ hosted a massive event in Hall H including the casts of all three Star Trek television series.

The panel began with Patrick Stewart and Gates McFadden from Star Trek: Picard, followed by the Lower Decks cast from Season 3 of the show.

Among the panelists were Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Ethan Rose Gooding, Christina Chong, and Paul Wesley. Alex Kurtzman, Henry Alonso Myers, and Rod Roddenberry produced.

Minutes into the discussion hosted by Lea Thompson, Tawny Newsome and Jack Quaid returned to the stage.

It was one of the more fascinating panel revelations to come out of what seemed to be a fun in-character joke.

When Kurtzman contacted and pitched the concept of a crossover episode with the adult animated series,

Alonso Myers stated they were already working on it. Live-action and animated segments from both programs will be included in the episode.

It’s unknown how these ships will meet in Lower Decks, which takes place over a century after Strange New Worlds.
