Jennie from Blackpink will be on The Weeknd’s ‘The Idol’

Jennie of Blackpink will participate on The Idol this year. In the next series, Kim will join The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp in an unspecified role.

Her interest in the show was piqued by its unique premise, Kim said in an interview with Yonhap, a Korean news agency.

Through her representative, she made this comment. “That excites me to no end. Because I intend to put in a lot of work, I kindly request that you keep a watch on me.”

Kim has been a member of Blackpink since they first performed together in 2016. Examples of the band’s studio work include Blackpink in Your Area and The Album.

In addition, a new Netflix documentary, Blackpink: Light Up the Sky, will focus on the group. It will be available in 2020.

Kim’s self-titled debut song was released in 2018 and is titled “Solo.” Johnny Depp and The Weeknd star in this show,

Which also stars Troye Sivan, Debby Ryan, Rachel Senott, Steve Zissis, and Melaine Liburd. Both of these actors had already been confirmed in the past.
